Mother Earth Trust, Kodaikanal, (Reg. Trust Indian Trust Act No. 91/2009) was founded by Mr Mark Antrobus (aka Sri Sadhu Govind), Indian Citizen. Mother Earth Trust (MET) is a not-for-profit Private Charitable Trust funded solely from India by its Managing Trustee and Donor Mark Antrobus.

MET has been active in social welfare and environmental issues for the past sixteen years in the middle Palani Hills working to protect the natural environment and support social uplift amongst disadvantaged communities of the Palani Hills.

Our volunteers are engaged in non-profit village uplift activities such as Yoga instruction Diet/Health advice and assistance, English tuition for rural students, and technical consultation.

We offer free special computer training to disadvantaged students.

MET supports native tree restoration to mitigate climate change.

MET has supported education to disadvantaged middle schoolers and college for girl students through direct grants.

During Covid-19 lockdown, in cooperation with PHCC, Mother Earth Trust donated dozens of PPT kits, masks, visors, testing assistance and oxygen cylinders to Kodaikanal Government Hospital.

The Trust conducts medical interventions including surgeries in cooperation with Government Medical College, Theni, Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai-Theni, Kodaikanal Government Hospital, and Van Allen Hospital, Kodaikanal.

The Trust counsels in diet education for disadvantaged sectors.

Our office is an open house, welcoming people for emergency relief, as well as for advising and sharing in the above-mentioned topics.
